On November 19, 2013, the Foundation for the National Archives celebrated director Steven Spielberg’s contributions to raising public awareness of our nation’s history. The Foundation awarded Mr. Spielberg with its Records of Achievement Award during a ceremony in the William G. McGowan Theater chaired by Foundation Vice President Ken Burns.
After the presentation of the award, the two film directors sat down for a candid talk on film, history, and much more:
The event was sponsored by AT&T, with the generous support of the Maris S. Cuneo Foundation, Governor Jim Blanchard and Janet Blanchard, and Marvin F. Weissberg.
