The Ireicho: Day of Remembrance

Join us for a panel discussion and the kick-off of the national tour of “The Ireichō” book. Drawn from the National Archives holdings, “The Book” contains a comprehensive listing of over 125,000 persons of Japanese ancestry who were incarcerated as part of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s Executive Order 9066. The program will delve into the impact and legacy of that time.

  • Shirley Ann Higuchi, JD, Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation
  • Ann Burroughs, Japanese American National Museum

The event will now take place at the Navy Memorial Visitor Center.
