William H. Minor is the Deputy Managing Partner of DLA Piper LLP’s Washington office and leads the firm’s political law practice, which advises corporations, associations, professional firms, nonprofits, and individuals on federal, state, and international lobbying, campaign finance, and government ethics laws. He also represents clients in enforcement matters and congressional investigations.
William has served as pro bono counsel to the Foundation since 2011. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Running Start, a nonprofit devoted to inspiring and training young women for political service. Before joining Verner Liipfert, which later merged with DLA Piper, William was a legislative assistant to Senator Edward J. Markey (D-MA).
William received his J.D. from Columbia Law School where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems. He attended the London School of Economics and Political Science and received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University.
